Door sweeps are an inexpensive and effective way to increase draft protection in your home or business. Sweeps are often used to keep out water when it rains alot. Sweeps are attached to the bottom of the door to provide a physical barrier protection. Typically the door sweeps are made of aluminum and rubber, where the rubber sweeps against the ground floor.

Most residential and business use doorsweeps. The doorsweep rubber needs to be snug against the door threshold for a good seal and it wears out over time when the door is opened and closed. The average age of a doorsweep is 4-8 years and it would need to be replaced.

We received a client call requesting a basement bar to be removed as well as other services around the residence. We removed the custom built bar in the best way possible. We try to reuse or recylcle demolition hardware from residential and commercial clients where possible.

From the images, the bar was approximately 7 feet long and 3 feet wide. We used our demolition tools to remove the bar in the least destructive way in order to reuse or recycle the wood products. Also, when removing the bar from the wall, we took extra precaution.

I love getting commercial customer calls for new conduit electrical installation work. Since I am a degreed electrical engineer, this type of work really excites me! I enjoy demolition of old legacy conduits, wiring, and lighting. Of course you always need to be safe and cautious when working around electricity.

The work required for us to demo the old electrical conduit wiring and remove legacy ceiling lights and install new conduits, electrical outlets, and ceiling lights. Of course, they wanted electrical switches and outlets in the most convenient locations.

Feels good to get outside when the sun is out! We got a customer that called in from Herriman. On the way there, I drove on the new Bangerter Highway starting from around 4700 South and drove all the way until 133rd South. That semi freeway gets really moving!

When I arrived, they had a few jobs for me. The middle-aged couple had two doorframes that needed to repainted. The old paint had come off over the years and the bare wood was showing. Also, they needed a front porch motion sensor light that needed to be installed.
