Door sweeps are an inexpensive and effective way to increase draft protection in your home or business. Sweeps are often used to keep out water when it rains alot. Sweeps are attached to the bottom of the door to provide a physical barrier protection. Typically the door sweeps are made of aluminum and rubber, where the rubber sweeps against the ground floor.

Most residential and business use doorsweeps. The doorsweep rubber needs to be snug against the door threshold for a good seal and it wears out over time when the door is opened and closed. The average age of a doorsweep is 4-8 years and it would need to be replaced.

We get commercial clients which have old doorsweeps that are burdensome to remove, so they call us to remove and replace with new doorsweeps. Most of the time, there are rusted screws that are tough to remove. We have the skills and tools to remove any type of doorsweep clients give us. Also, clients have other jobs for us that we help them with.
