I love getting commercial customer calls for new conduit electrical installation work. Since I am a degreed electrical engineer, this type of work really excites me! I enjoy demolition of old legacy conduits, wiring, and lighting. Of course you always need to be safe and cautious when working around electricity.
The work required for us to demo the old electrical conduit wiring and remove legacy ceiling lights and install new conduits, electrical outlets, and ceiling lights. Of course, they wanted electrical switches and outlets in the most convenient locations.
As you can see from the images, the ceiling height was 18 feet high, so it required getting on scaffolding and using extension ladders. We used hooks and chains to hang the ceiling lights.
Most of the work, we used 1/2" EMT (electrical metallic tubing) for the conduit to the ceiling lights and used 3/4" EMT for other high current wall outlets. When working around electricity, you need to ensure all power to the affected work areas are turned off and secure.
I have been in the electrical business well over 15 years now in the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding areas. Our Salt Lake handymen have the required tools to do the job right the first time. If you have any electrical demolition, repair and/or installation work, just give us a call and we can give you a free estimate.
We give our customers a fair and competitive price for electrical work.
